Email campaigns are a great way to reach out to your customers directly from your Kinkbomb.com StudioZone.
Here are the steps to create a new campaign from your StudioZone:
- Click "Campaigns" on the left side navigation bar, then select "Create new campaign." 
- Add a name for your campaign then select one or more of the "Smart lists" from the Smart list box by clicking the plus symbol next to the desired list.
- You may also select individual customers by clicking their username in your Address book on the right side of the page.
- Once you have specified a name for your campaign and the appropriate customers and/or lists have been added, click "Next."
- You will see 5 pre-made templates and one blank template on this page. Select one by clicking it.
- If you selected a pre-made template, you will be able to edit each field by clicking it.
- If you selected the blank template, you will have to first click and drag one or more of the "Layouts" into the blank template, then click and drag the desired "Component" into each field or column.
- When adding a text component, you can use the tools provided such as the "insert/edit link" tool that allows you to select a portion of text to create a link out of. If you would like to add HTML script without having to use the build in tool, you can select the "Source code" button which will open up a field for adding or editing the HTML.
- When adding an image, you will be able to edit four different fields:
1. The "Source" field is where you will add the direct link to an image that is hosted on an image hosting site. If you do not have any images uploaded to an image hosting site, click the "Upload an image to postimage.org" link at the bottom.
2. The "Link destination" is where you can add a URL. When the customer clicks the image they will be sent to the specified URL. (Note: If no URL is added to this field, clicking the image will do nothing)
3. You can add a description to the "Image description" field to help you remember where the URL goes or anything else that you might need to reference when editing the campaign later.
4. The "Dimensions" fields will allow you to specify the size of image. Selecting "Constrain proportions" will insure that the image stays proportionally the same.
- You can also link a clip from your Studio (see screenshot here) by adding a clickable preview image from the specified clip. Click and drag the "Link a clip" component into the desired field. You will see a list of your products as well as a search feature. Once you have found the product you wish to link, you can click the product name to add the URL into the destination field. You can change the size of the preview image by updating the dimensions.
- Once you are finished adding your components to the template, you can preview how the email will appear to customers by clicking the preview button. From this window you can also test the clickable links and images you may have added.
- Click the "send it!" button and your campaign will be sent out as well as saved to your StudioZone.
- To view campaigns that you have previously sent, click "Campaigns" on the left side navigation bar and select "My campaigns."
