Your account has several levels of security. Some of these levels are configurable by you, in terms of who can see what. Other pieces of information (the more sensitive stuff) is always kept secured.

Social Information
Your chosen username (handle) can be seen by studios on this site. Private messages utilize your handle. Additional profile information can be made available to other members (both customers and studios) and you have control over the visibility of your profile information. Profiles are used for building a social network within kinkbomb.com. However, until further notice the user profiles has been disabled so your only social information available is your username.
Personal Information
Your personal information is between you and Kinkbomb. It is used for kinkbomb to make your experience as positive as possible. That being said, Kinkbomb.com never shares your information with studios, marketing entities, or any third parties. Personal information includes your real name, your address, and any contact information. It is important to understand that if you had indicated you are OK with receiving emails from kinkbomb.com, you may also receive emails from our studios. Rest assured we are not providing your actual email information. However, kinkbomb.com does offer a mail-campaign App to our studios where they can select your handle from a list of their customers and initiate an email to you. If you do not wish to receive these emails make sure that the check mark next to the subscription during checkouts is off. If you are subscribed to receive emails and would like to be removed from that list, simply log a ticket with our support teams.

Billing Information
In compliance with PCI DSS standards, all billing information including your name and any credit card information is kept fully secured. The information is encrypted using state of the art encryption techniques that include "slow arithmetic" algorithms to prevent even brute force attacks. The information is stored within the systems in its encrypted state and is only decrypted when passed to the credit processing gateway. This communication itself is still encapsulated in a 256-bit encrypted Secured Socket Layer (SSL) in order to prevent snooping. The security levels for this cannot be altered by anyone.
Blackmail Fantasies
In our industry it is common to see blackmail fantasies. While this may be all fun and games, kinkbomb.com treats actual blackmail seriously and does NOT condone it. Customers have participated in this fantasy only to get cold feet and need to use a "safe" word. However, during on-line play this is often difficult to do and the question always comes up "how much of my info does this studio have?"
That question is difficult to answer due to many factors. Customers typically engage in more sites than kinkbomb alone and thus studios may be able to build a small profile of you based on tools available to them.
Kinkbomb.com will NEVER give your personal information out to a studio under any circumstances.
Staying Safe
When engaging in blackmail fantasies, remember to keep yourself protected. The internet is a place where information flows freely. Sometimes too freely. Here are a few pointers to keep in mind while having fun.
- Blogs offer admins the ability to view IP addresses from all posters (including any comments) in an attempt to prevent SPAM on the blogs. If you post on a studio-owned blog, your IP address will be recorded and the studio will have access to this. IP address can be translated into addresses fairly easily utilizing free services such as www.iplocation.net. While actual addresses cannot be determined, cities and states most certainly can. If you want to be extra careful you can utilize HTTP Proxy services like the ones found here to anatomize your web experience. Free ones will pester you with ads while you can also buy one to remove those ads.
- Open up a free email account under gmail or yahoo and make sure your handle does not include any identifiable information. This keeps your on-line account at arms length from your real information.
- Never EVER use your real information (particularly address and real last name) for handles or email addresses you use while in these fantasies.
